Lucas Fit Out builds expertise in datacentres
Telehouse West
Lucas Fit Out is building a strong reputation in the
datacentre sector with two new projects underway in
London’s Docklands and at Newbury in Berkshire. They follow
on from a similar major project undertaken at Hildenborough
in Kent earlier this year.
The London project is Telehouse West near East India Docks
where we are providing fit out services and complete
decorations, through sister company S Lucas, on this
purpose-built eight storey building. It provides Telehouse
Europe’s clients with space for electronic storage and
emergency back-up facilities for their data management
systems.
In Newbury our teams are carrying out a full fit out and
decoration service at a brand new datacentre building for
the Nationwide Building Society. Our services here include
the erection of whitewall screens in the data hall and
decorations in the ancillary plant and office areas.
As always our project managers have laid out careful plans
to ensure that the sequencing of materials and the
completion of tasks fit seamlessly with the works of other
on-site trades so that the projects run smoothly. Both
projects are being carried out for Mace.
