S Lucas shortlisted for prestigious industry award

S Lucas has been shortlisted in one of the most important awards schemes for specialists in the UK building and construction industry. The company is in the running for the top prize in the Finishing and Fit Out category of the Specialists Awards 10 organised by Construction News to reward specialists in construction. The final results of the awards scheme will be announced on 4th March 2010 at a gala dinner in London’s West End. The company has won through to the shortlist judged on its industry performance, training programmes, health and safety record and for its corporate planning and ambitions for the future. The judges have also looked at information on recent projects including the painting of the Grand Hall at Olympia in Kensington during the summer and the redecoration of Hackney Community College in Hoxton during their summer break.
